I hereby nominate

for a Crowdie on account of:

VISUALS

Looks great or appropriate for the purpose.

USABILITY

Everything works, easy to navigate, enjoyable to use.

CONTENT

Effective or delightful words, images or whatever.

Crowdies is where you rate Oz web sites. Click the outer circle of the knobs (or click inside the circle) to score the site for visuals, usability and content. Minus scores mean you don't like the site. The more people who nominate a site, the more likely it is to reach the finals. Yes, you can nominate your own site.

I agree to the Crowdies Rules, Terms & Conditions and it’s fine to email me details about the event.

Next thing is to pimp it on Facebook, Twitter or Google+ because then other people will nominate it too, increasing your chances of making the finals. Then...

On Sept 16th, 4PM AEST we do this live STREAMING VOTING thing for ONE HOUR only with STRICTLY NO SHOUTING or cheating.

Judd Exley is hosting and he's just EXLEY.

LASTLY, if you've you've LIKED the Facebook page you can vote during the live-streamed finals which will make it LESS BORING.

If you have nothing to do between now and Sept 16th, you can follow @Crowdies2012 on Twitter.

BTW, there are Australian Web Awards which are technically judged. Tell a web designer!

Rules, Terms & Conditions

Any Australian resident can nominate a site. Nominated sites must be either (1) .com.au (2) run by an Australian or (3) an organisation with their main headquarters in Australia. Acceptance of nominations is at the discretion of AWIA.

The Crowdies are open to Australian made web sites and web sites of businesses or organisations with their headquarters in Australia. Acceptance into the awards is at the discretion of AWIA.

Any person can nominate a site and entry is free. You can enter as many sites as you like, but each one only once.

Please don't try and scam the system. Automation of nominations or votes may render a site ineligible. And we’ll turn off your web access.

Judges from AWIA will select finalists taking into account the number of nominations and several mysterious factors that will not be made public. Judging of finalists will take place in an online event. No correspondence will be entered into and judges' decisions are final. Though you’re welcome to moan about them on Twitter.

We may email you again re this event or other AWIA business but your email address details will not be passed on to third or fourth parties.
